Just thought id let you know I phoned Birmingham to check with referral from GP and they said it's 7th Feb 5pm, think it works out at 9 week wait. Still have appointment with consultant this saturday to check ammonia levels etc.

What does the referral mean? To see a liver specialist?
What is the reference point for the 9 weeks? From seeiing your GP. If so 9 weeks is not that unusual in my limited experience - not that that makes it any nicer or palatable for you ☹️.

Yeah to see liver specialist at queen Elizabeth. Seen my gastro consultant today.. he's given me a blood test form to get ammonia test done.. so I'll get that done on Monday. He also mentioned if my LFT is still raised then he wants to do a liver biopsy but he said since I've got appointment at Bham on 7th Feb he will let them do that. Also said he's arranging for colonoscopy due to bleeding from rear. Getting there slowly..
