Day 474 without Mr vino,fibroscan & thank you 💗

Hello you fabulousss people down my phone 👋 thank you all so much for the advice over the dreaded lactulose ❤

I told shipman (my gp) my prob with lactulose, over the phone coz he wouldn't see me & he's prescribed 'movicol' (he's not the best doc) 😕

I don't think this will have the same effect as lactulose as I was previously prescribed this for IBS...confused.com xx

Its day 474 without the enemy that was Mr vino yayyy 😁 & im back to the hospital for my first fibroscan at 3pm!! Fasting for 5 hours ?¿? I take it this is necessary lol

Good luck today with the fibroscan. I’ve never had one so can’t advise. I’m sure it will be ok. Your doing great 👍 giving up the vino. Didn’t come on here till late yesterday so missed the lactulose thing. Keep preserving, its good stuff when it works. Take care xx

Movicol won’t take the nasty ammonia away mate. Great going on staying dry. I miss my wine 😢

OH no I don't, it ended up being my enemy disguised as my friend 👊 should've done it years ago x

Good luck with the fibroscan.

Not sure if the alternative laxative does the same as lacto!

Same effect on BMs but doubt if it carrys the toxins away.

Some Drs are frustrating, They dont understand how meds work.

They just see it as a laxative and assume they all work the same.

I put Mr Vinos plug back in the jug 595 days ago.

Still miss it but would never touch it again.

Omg Roy I know my sister calls my doc shipman as he seriously missed my liver damage as thyroid prob "ive got a pill that will make you feel amazing" <<< his words a few days before i was admitted & given 6 months to live 😡 xx

OMG 595 days is amazing!! Well done you my friend 💪 not long now till your 2 years then?? I can't wait x 12 months closer to 3 years (I'm not quite sure why the 3 years means a lot to me but my therapist says we all have one ...his was 5 years) xx
