Well that's the dueretics halved from today, total of 11 lbs put on last week, so god knows what this weeks weight gain will be!

Hi, have you had any drains yet? When I had ascites in had to weigh myself everyday & when I got to the weight set by the hospital ring up for a drain.

I don't understand why they have reduced your diuretics when you're still filling with fluid unless they are affecting your kidneys. Have they said why they have reduced them? X

Yes it is kidneys, he has had 2 drains before. .20 and 15.5 ltr

Diuretics stopped being effective for me after two years and I had to rely on drains every week or so. In my experience invasive surgery was only resorted to when it was the best option or the medication was not having the desired effect after time.
