Oxcodon and it's other name sakes have given me a problem. I get a lot of crippling abdominal pain especially towards drain day.

I have what I call my 'afternoon snooze' and rest using oxcodon to ease the pain for a while.

The local hospital, Derriford, use oxcodon, my GP has prescribed me a supply, KCH aren't too keen on using it and web articles I read seem to indicate that long term use is potentially dangerous and liver damaging.

Does any forum member use oxcodon and what advice did you receive?

Thanks

John

Hi John

I was taking it for a few months after transplant and frankly hated it. It was making me feel spaced out, it was dangerous to drive and withdrawals were awful. I'd ask for a less powerful, less addictive alternative.

Good luck
