Who else has this wonderful pain of the feet, and what is it ? This pain is the bone on the inside of both feet under the big toe down the inside of the foot. It’s not bunions or swollen ( that would be to simple ) . It feels like there’s a little fella squeezing the💩 out of it with some pliers then switching to poke’en me with something sharp constantly 👣

sounds very much like neuropathy where the nerves have become damaged, it is often in the feet but can be any nerve endiing such as the hands. A trip to the doctor Will connfirm if it is neuropathy and you can then be put on special painkillers for example gavapentin. i did some research as i suffered hugely from this which can be tempory or permenant, and as i didn,t get on with the drug i began taking alpha lipoti acid, which has finally stopped the pain for me. zThis was all done with my doctors approval, so i suggest you make an appointment and get sorted as i know how painfull this condition is, it often occurs in folk who were drinkers, or on chemo treatment for a cancer. as i said it can improve by itself with time, and i hope this is the case with you. the docs also have another newer drug they can use which i read about online but have forgotten the name of, best wishes.
Thanks i like to some knowledge of what it is I am complaining of. I have my usual monthly doctors visit coming up soon and will be discussing this first. I wasn’t a drinker just had Hepatitis C for a long time and Cirrhosis.
I also have cirhosis from hep C which wa the cause of my nerve damage, it does sound likely you,re in the same boat Didtx. The pain used to keep me awake at night, it felt like hot needles stabbing my big toe and other points in my feet nd then shooting up to my shoulder, Regards, squitten.
Hi, I suffer terribly with neuropathy in my lower legs and feet. I agree with all the above. I really was getting beyond desperate with it. I saw some improvement with Gabapentin, Amitriptyline, but my Consultant wouldn't increase the dosage due to my liver. In a way I'm glad because they make me feel so ill that I probably would've refused an increase anyway. At the moment I'm using Lidocaine patches as well. I think they're quite good insofar as my feet seem to be as confused as I am, lol! I have a podiatrist who said that the best I can hope for, is for my feet to go completely numb as the damage is irreparable and irreversible. As to the shoulder pain, as I understand it, there is a nerve that runs top to bottom on the right- hand side. If your liver is swollen then it can press on the nerve, causing shoulder pain. I hope this helps. Take care.
Thanks, is it not simply marvelous the changes we undertake while the liver does it thing. So far this has been the most constant and consistent pain. I have been complaining about this for a long time as it steadily gets worse. You can bet your boots this is the first thing will be discussing at this months visit.
Hi Didtx..sounds like you've got bad pains ...yes I've get very sore feet as well....and the doc gave me pills to increase the circulation...Costlinz..something..3 a day for 3 mnths....didn't really help....They hurt and ache when lying down at night...I've noticed tho' the more i move and keep active the less they hurt..!! Anyway hope it gets better..
Well 💩 on the no medication helping. I appreciate your assistance because this is crazy. Right now mine hurt more when I have my boots on verse nothing. But the pain without the boot is like the needle sticking. So I just have to choose which pain am I ready to tolerate. I am fix’en to ask all the dr’s I see just what kind of plan of attack we can do.
