Its quite common for some drugs to have an adverse affect on the liver, even those you may have taken for a long time without any issues. Stopping taking them will allow the liver to recover and it usually does completely. Hence the instruction from your psychiatrist.

No body here will be able to say what any numbers mean for any individual and everyone is discouraged from posting for a number of reasons. I would though suggest that you dont get overly concerned about the numbers.

Suboxone (the component drugs) are not associated with any hepatic injury according to livertox.nlm.nih.gov

Looking at the manufacturers own site about Suboxone it seems wise for your doctor to have advised you to stop taking the medication whilst you are displaying deranged liver function tests.

On the section about side effects from the medication it states.

"SUBOXONE Film may not be right for everybody. SUBOXONE Film can cause serious side effects, including: Liver problems. Call your healthcare provider right away if you notice any of these signs of liver problems: Your skin or the white part of your eyes turning yellow (jaundice), urine turning dark, stools turning light in color, you have less of an appetite, or you have stomach (abdominal) pain or nausea. Your healthcare provider should do tests before you start taking and while you take SUBOXONE Film"

Raised ALT signals that your liver is a little inflamed just now so it is wise to try and rule out this medication as a cause and give you liver a chance to recover before potentially exploring if there is any other underlying cause to this rise in liver numbers.
