High bilirubin with chirosis
No one will be able to give an answer to the 'how long?' question. Even medics won't be able to put any definite timescale on things but continuing to drink whilst his liver is decompensated in the way it is will almost inevitably lead to complete liver failure followed by multiple organ failure and it isn't going to be a pleasant end. His liver is gradually packing up and it probably is just a matter of time - sorry to say.
Look after yourself in all this.

Thanks for ur reply an don’t be sorry I no it’s not going to be nice he also does but he just don’t want to quit or change, he has never been told his liver is deconpensated I just no this sort of stuff from this site and also others about online, he has been said that his liver is failing but then they let him home saying it is coping ok personally I think they just make him comfortable as they no spending time and money on him is a waste to the health service just a hard thing to figure out x
