I posted on here not long ago and have been reading up on Terry’s Nails.
I’ve examined my horrible nails and have the characteristics of this but unsure.
Can anyone tell me if these look like Terry’s nails or not as I’m getting lots of other symptoms too. I also have this brawn band at the top of 2 toes. My little finger seems to show terrys. Please advise.

Hi Becca, Terry's Nails are not used as a diagnositic tool in liver disease on their own as they can be due to other issues and your picture isn't clear enough to say if they are or arn't actually showing Terry's Nails.
I think you are going hunting for symptoms of an illness which current tests say you don't have and you are going to make yourself more poorly.
Yes you do have a gall bladder issue which is more than likely the cause of your discoloured stools and other symptoms and docs are on the ball in getting you referred on for that to be dealt with and as others have pointed out during your examination for and treatment of the gall bladder issue the surgeons will have a really good look at your liver as the two organs do work together.
The best thing you can do now to look after yourself is stay off the booze, eat healthily and exercise. Follow the guidelines on the British Liver Trust site about looking after your liver. britishlivertrust.org.uk/li...
Even if it were discovered that you did have cirrhosis or advanced liver disease then the advice would be the same as there is no magic cure or treatment for cirrhosis - they can only look out for and treat the side effects of cirrhosis or the additional symptoms it creates.
Look after yourself and your liver and you'll give your health a chance to recover. It is highly, highly unlikely that you have liver damage if it isn't showing in either blood tests or scans and your issues currently more than likely stem from your gall bladder illness.
All the best,
Katie
