My laboratory results show high ALT and GGT but normal AST and ALP.
My GP ignires the results as nothing and ultrasound picks nothing indeed. But i feel a lot of pain and discomfort in the right section under the rib.
Any advice is welcome. Thanks.

Mildly elevated liver enzymes are actually quite common, & doctors usually don't get too excited about them unless they reach double or more normal over more than one lab test.
This said, living with elevated labs isn't something you want to do over the long haul, so some detective work may be in order to figure out what's going on. Getting to the bottom of this may take some doing, but will be worth it for your future health.
Fatty liver is epidemic now days... Usually caused by too much sugar (particularly sodas) rather than by too much fat in the diet. Obese folks often have chronically elevated liver enzymes... Not an easy fix, but the best way to better health if this is what's going on.
Alcohol another no-brainer. If you're a regular drinker, some "new rules" for moderation may be in order. Dietary deficiencies in choline (lecithin) and/or Vitamin-E can cause an unhappy liver. Eggs are rich in choline/lecithin and nuts rich in Vitamin-E. These can also be supplemented.
Occupational and even household toxins can cause problems too. Solvents, fragrances, dry cleaning fumes from clothes hanging in your bedroom closet? Keep pondering the possibilities, & hopefully you'll get some clues! Time is on your side for now, but you need to get this resolved eventually.
Best of Luck.
you could have a bit of fatty liver which doesn't show up on the U/s but have some discomfort which shows in the elevated ggt. Do you drink alcohol?
