I went to the hosi on Thurs to see the consultant.I still haven't been placed back on the transplant list & he was certain I should be.Hopefully I should hear by nxt wk.
My bloods are slightly better but the sepsis has taken a huge chunk out of of my health.
I am trying not to give up but it is damn hard.
Hi there. Stay positive and dont give up your turn will come. When you saw your consultant did he say you will be discussed at the next consutant meeting?. Usually this is what happens and thay decide, based on your score, whether you should be on the list. At St James they had the meetings on Tuesday. I would give it until next wednesday and if you have not heard anything phone up and ask to speak to your consultant, he/she sould phone you back. Ask if you have been put bck on list and if not ask them to explain why. The worst thing i found is not knowing the reasons for their decisions. Fingers crossed for you and i hope you get back on the list soon and your trasnplant soon after that. Stay strong. X 😁
