Hep C Treatment? go to Egypt....

I don'r suffer from Hep C but I thought I'd share this as I know the senior Doctor who was involved in the early trials in Egypt very well.

This is interesting but a bit irrelevant as the drug is available to all on the NHS for free. The drug marketed as Sofosbuvir was recommended by NICE in 2015 for some but not all variants of hepatitis C

However, it does show how fortunate we are in the UK to not have to be concerned about cost when dealing with illness.

Thanks Jim I thought it wasn't free actually going on some of the posts on this forum but they were probably from overseas. Cheers
