Hi Tink,

Can you discuss your dad's test results with his medical consultant? I know your Dad has been really unwell recently, and I think that his medical team are best placed to accurately interpret them for you, as they have access to your dad's medical records and know him best.

If you need to talk, the helpline is open 10-2.30pm on 0800 652 7330

Sending you and your dad best wishes,

BLT admin

best speak with the pros - AFP is not really an indicator of HCC but more rather how it is progressing / not progressing ; mine goes up and down between 500 and 1000 - currently back to 504 ; have HCC and treating with sorafenib and the green oil

yes the C oil - get it here in Holland (wife is Dutch) and also South Africa (through various channels) - everybody says it does - have been taking it but also sorafenib - however my tumours have shrunk 17% and T signals in the MRI wash out are showing little or no cancer - AFP still 500 though - so it might be doing something - best to try anything!!! This is over 5 months so something is happening

sure you can look it up - dont know if available in UK but I was treated in India with cyberknife - even though I am a British citizen I am not resident in the UK so cannot access the NHS ; its around $17 000 for 3 months and in India less than $200 for 3 months!!!
