Sorry I don't have any idea ? I've never heard of a microwave ablation. Best thing to do is contact your gp or the hepetologist

Dubbs I have never heard of this either. I think the best people as Millie said was to speak with your GP or Hepetology team. Let them know how you feel. It might actually be something totally unrelated. Don't give up on getting a reply, someone here will have had something similar!! Good luck and I hope you feel better soon x

Hi, definitely a job for your GP, I would say as well. You might have picked up a bit of a chest infection when going through the flu like symptoms. Hopefully your GP can sort you out,if not then get back to your hepetologist. Try not to worry too much, easier said than done. I always feel better as soon as I know whats going on.

All the best Emma

Hi,

I have had microwave ablation on my liver to remove a tumour which otherwise would have needed major surgery. I remember being quite sore afterwards, but was so glad I had it done as it got me back on the transplant list. I wouldn't dream of giving advice except to say you must go back to your consultant or liver specialist nurse and tell them your concerns.

All the best

Can you phone the ward or radiography department where you had the treatment or get in touch with your consultant. I dont think the GP will have the expertise. You may just be unlucky and have a chest infection, but ablation can result in infection so i agree with Ruswati.

hi Dubbs12

everyone else has said it - call your liver team and discuss this with the asap

good luck and best wishes
