How fast can liver cancer grow? How quickly can it spread to other areas of the body? Been told no firm date for assessment for my husband's rfa treatment. A Consultant off work this week, and hospital waiting for them to return. Initially told treatment would be done within 6 weeks. On week 4 now. Not looking good for within 6 weeks.

There's a link to how long the maximum wait is to start treatment after first diagnosis.

If it looks like you're going to be waiting longer than that maybe contact PALS at your hospital.

Thanks for that. Hope you are doing ok. Best wishes, Christine x

Thank you.

I waited about a month for my RFA but I had to have a planning angiogram which delayed things a bit.

If you've got any more questions I'm more than happy to answer them xx

Yes please, how long did it take to recover from the RFA, and is there much pain afterwards.

Thank you, Christine x

I had a few issues with pain afterwards but I think that is kinda rare and most people are recovered in a week or less x
