Liver cirhossis

Hi ive been for fibroscan it came back score of 18 and fib 4 of 1.56 i ve had fatty liver for 15years and raised ggt.which i was told its only 1 enzyme raised its ok will look into it if 2 enzymes raised i now have 3 raised i had camera down to check for varacies i dont have them yet what can i expect from this thanks finas

Hi there. Sorry, I haven't seen anyone reply yet. They may have missed it. I don't know what those scores mean, having been tested I guess the old fashioned way! Lol

What have your consultants said? Do you know what type of cirhossis you have?

I was sick with cirhossis for 4 years. Very sick I mean. I was transplanted last year.

Some people can go 20 years without needing a transplant. There are a few different diseases that go along with liver issues. Varacies are one of them.

Have you been given any medicine or dietary restrictions? Like staying away from salt and sodium especially. Trying to eat fresh foods.

Were you actually told you had chirossis? They should have given you some info then. But, if you look on this site, you will see a section with information that can help a lot.

Hi thanks for your reply,yes ihave been told by specialist that i have liver cirhossis he didnt give any other info. can i tell you my medical history since 2001 when i started going down hill thanks finas
