Hello. I had a Fibrosacan in February and got the results yesterday at the Hospital as I saw the Liver Specialist my score was 14. I am now waiting to have an Ultrasound Scan on my liver. and might have to have a Liver Biopsy done. had a load of blood test done to rule out all sorts of things. I Type 2 Diabetic (16 YRS).

Diabetes can cause steatosis - or fatty liver deposits - lets hope its nothing else and can be dealt with by perhaps some dietary changes. Are you on meds for the diabetes? It is possible to turn diabetes around, but you have to go on a pretty limited diet of no sugars at all, that incudes lactose, fructose, glucose, no starchy veg and no carbohydrates, which is do-able but tricky.
