Yes, rapid changes in diet and calorie intake have been rumoured to be a negative when it comes to fatty liver but more importantly there is scientific evidence I belive, that crash dieting, yo-yoing with weight etc can cause gallstones. I've trained and worked out off and on over the years, testing various diets etc and I now have gallstones. Gall bladder coming out next month. For what it's worth, try to eat sensibly, keep that cholesterol down and try to do at least 3 x 30 min exercise per week. Even if it's just going up and down your stairs constantly for a half hour. You'll soon see the difference.
I have also gone on many diets over the years trying to lose weight now have gallstones and fatty liver, not sure which one to worry about most urine is often dark ,stomach bloated , painful legs, and low in vitamin D only advice from G.P is weight loss, considering a private fibroscan and some advice, feel lost and on my own.
