I am a mother of a 5 months old happy baby boy name kal-el.He has a biliary atresia with no kasai ..The doctor says he should undergo a liver transplant or else he wont survive and honestly we cant afford the cost here in the Philippines.Please help us.We are just an ordinary citizen and we are luck of funds to proceed his transplant.

I'm very sorry about what you're all going through but I really don't agree with you asking for financial help on this forum as we are all liver patients ourselves and many of us are struggling. I would urge you to contact the media, both here and worldwide, as they would be the best people to get your story read by more people and the exposure would give you greater credibility. You can find contact details for media groups online.

Just to add, you could also try some of the crowdfunding sites, I've seen people use these for medical costs before (usually US citizens) and some have been very successful. You could also try directly approaching representatives of different hospitals. Many Consultants do take on cases on compassionate grounds, especially where children are involved. I wish you luck.
