I have drunk quite a bit in my 59 years over the recommeded limits.. i have had several scans all ok.. the last one was 2 years ago.

my last LFT was in Nov 2013 an was good. but over the. last couple of weeks, my palms have been itching intermittently and i am so scared that something is terribly wrong.. i feel fine and have no other symptoms except my usual upper right niggle which i have had for years. Has anyone any ideas if there could be a simple explaination for the itching.. i have no rash and it is sometimes on my feet and various other areas of my body.. but not all the time.. it is mostly in the daytime

Hi ravenschild, itching is just one of many symptons of liver disease which vary from person to person, so doesn't necessarily indicate anything. Do you still drink by any chance.

Yes socially now .. i had a bad year though and over indulged some. I have now itchy areas on inner thigh and other patches.. these however do come up in spots when i scratch. I am waiting on bloods result
