First park run tomorrow. π Nothing local so itβs an earlyish start and then hopefully just rock up and go to the back...
Park Run Newbie: First park run tomorrow... - Bridge to 10K
Park Run Newbie

Enjoy. My second tomorrow. Gonna be a hot one!!

Enjoy your first 5k Parkrun tomorrow, go to the back like I do, tomorrow its my fourth parkrun, I go to the back, that way you will get a idea how your run is going, hopefully you will be able to pass quite a few runners, I am sure you will enjoy it and you will not be last. π π
You donβt listen to the first timers briefing π₯π₯π₯
After you listen to the first time briefing make your way to the back. π π

Itβs my 8th park run tomorrow I normally go in the middle and take it easy π
Good luck mate!
Thank you JaoJao yes enjoyed my run today not got a PB I donβt think but I knew with it being warm today I donβt normally do my best but I was feeling good I do best when itβs cooler and raining lol π donβt want no rain now having a bbq and fire pit later tonight x
Hi Kev, just got back from my 4th parkrun, no PB today, waiting for my time β
33.31, better than expected.
Well done you! Getting the time e-nailed is really exciting! 34.13 for me and my knees are both working π
Good time for you Comfortnotspeed, I thought that my time was more like around 35 minutes, nevertheless, I always go by the official result.
Wow thatβs an impressive time for your first parkrun! Did you enjoy it?
Thatβs amazing! Well done x
Thank you JaoJao, that was my fourth parkrun this morning, I am averaging around 33.45 minutes a run, 34.16, 34.17, 32.19 and today 33.31, there is a trend developing, also, I am noticing the same runners running around that time as well and getting to know them by having a little chat at the end of the run.
I wish I was around the 33-34 mark, My average is 36 mins at the moment

Enjoy your first Parkrun, there will be friendly tail walkers at the back. I'm doing my 3rd Parkrun (run) and trying out Chepstow. I have tail walked before after my injury (horse related).

Have a great run. First of many I hope. I will be Tailwalker tomorrow, so I may be running or I may be walking. Or both, I once had a long way to catch up when the people I was walking with dropped out after the first lap. The next people were about 1.5km in front, so my watch informed me of a pb Km and a pb mile
Note to self: wear running gear when tailwalking in September ππ
Well done Sue- parkrun cannot happen without volunteers.

ππΌππΌ Enjoy every minute! ππ

Have a wonderful time, the support is amazing.

Enjoy yourself today CNS. Itβs a wonderful way to start your weekend. Start off nice and slow and youβll be fine. Run at your pace and whatever time you get today will be a PB and a great benchmark to work on. ππ

Enjoy your first parkrun today Comfortnotspeed - but be warned, it can be addictive!π

Enjoy your parkrun, it will be great fun, and you definitely wonβt be last!

Hey make yourself know to the run director, there should be a first timers briefing that you will find informative! Xx

Itβs my 12th parkrun today. Iβm also doing the first timers briefing so if anyone is new to parkrun make yourselves known to the run director who will ensure you
Get the briefing π

Doing my fourth today. Thought I would hate it, but it turned out to be fun, especially meeting school mates from 50 years back. I started really slowly, cautious as ever, but have steadily increased pace each week....so every run a park run PB so far, even if they are not very fast at allπNothing like giving yourself an easy targetπ

Enjoy. Youβll love it.

Have fun this morning! Hoping to do one myself soon. Look forward to hearing how you get on π

Got my time not a PB but I wasnβt trying for it 31:47 which Iβm very happy with π
