Only you can decide.. your body will tell you. Rest and gentle exercise may help, but only you will know whether you feel you can run for 10 miles.

I will do a short slow run on sat pm and see how it feels i think. I have noted the strengthening exercises and will definitely start them when my knee feels on top form. 😊

Tough call. The only thing you can do is see how you feel on Sunday morning and make a decision then. If it still feels unstable then you probably shouldn’t run. If it feels ok then give it a go but be prepared to stop if it gives way again. I know it’s disapppinting but it’s a race and there will be others whereas you have only two knees!
Good luck whatever happens.

Good advice already given above - but if you do decide to run, be prepared to stop if your knee isn't up to it. It's not worth ending up on the injury couch for months - there are plenty more races ahead for when you are fully fit. Take care.🙂
