Hi,
We are working on a project to enable cancer survivors help existing sufferers compare and personalise their treatment to get the best outcome possible.
We are trying to understand if as a survivor you would be willing to contribute data from your experience that can help people dealing with cancer now. More details can be found on altruistic.care - the more feedback we can get the better and if people feel comfortable enough to sign up we would be super interested to hear from you.
It's worth noting as a team we have scientific backgrounds in this area and we know from published and our own research that personalising therapy is possible in theory but the problem is that researchers do not have access to the data at scale required to work on this problem mainly because it sits in different systems and healthcare providers take a long time to engage with. What we are hoping to achieve is a crowdsourced way of tackling that problem!
Feel free to DM us, we are happy to talk to anyone for any length of time about what we are doing and why. We are not seeking any information that is personally identifiable
Thanks!
p.s we have posted this in other forums - it would be great if we could get some insight into other places we should be posting!
