So important, as are regular self checks! I had three scares over time that turned out to just be cysts. The very small lump that my doctor was sure was a cyst turned out to be cancer. It was caught very early, which meant only a lumpectomy and radiation were needed with no real change in the appearance of the breast. Know your body! It can save your life!
