Hi Guys, i am new here as my mother got detected with breast cancer 2 weeks back.

trying to understand the details of this disease.

She underwent MRM last week. Prior to that a whole body bone scan & ultrasound was performed which mentioned 'no definitive scan evidence of bone metastasis'. Biopsy report came today which stats she is triple negative and INVASIVE DUCT CARCINOMA, NOS, GRADE III,pSTAGE : pT2N0.

AXILLARY : 16 LYMPHNODES ISOLATED, ALL ARE FREE OF TUMOR. (0/16)

i have few very basic questions.

1) Since whole body scan was good and MRM was performed. Will still there be a need for chemo as i understand cancer didnt spread and whole breast which had the cancer was removed.

2) shall we get the biopsy done again at a different lab just to ensure results are consistent.

3) can some body refer based on personal experience, a great oncologist in Delhi. would love to get feedback.

Hi. As there was cancer. Chemo will be needed. Regarding the doctor - don't see for a big hospital. Instead see for any Oncologists who can understand you and can give time
