Er pr and her 2nu positive

ER PR +HER2nu + ,age 35years,did lumpectomy and no lymphnodes positive and margins clear.can anyone please suggest the future treatment protocol in India?I asked my oncologist but he is not answering properly .my her 2nu is 3+ positive and harmones (Er Pr +)

Hi Goose up,

You will need chemo and radiation. But that depends on other details. Dr. Sumeet can advise. But that's the regular regime. Since young age you will need chemo and radiation both.

I am also 36. Just got done with chemo and now on radiation. Good luck. Please take advice from a different oncologist if current one is not answering your concerns.

I suggest you login to Tata Memorial Centre’s online opinion system called ‘Navya’ and take a second opinion there. All your doubts will be cleared by the best people in India. And alternative, since you feel your Oncologist does not answer or clarify, it’s best to seek some other Oncologist. Be with a doctor with whom YOU feel comfortable; not the one everyone suggests but you are not comfortable with.

Please find a doctor you trust! My first doctors, both for my breast cancer and for my leukemia, were totally wrong for me and gave me very bad advice. They did teach me to be an aggressive patient. 10 years since my breast cancer diagnosis and doing well. 15 since my leukemia diagnosis. I was told that I would be dead in 5 years. Still here!
