To add to what kontak has said above, if your chemotherapy is complete, you can eat normal diet. You will hear people tell you to avoid sugars and stuff. However, it is not true. You must eat a well balanced diet, which includes proper proportion of carbohydrates, proteins and fats. Eat vegetables and fruits, they will help. Drink lot of waetr, like kontak said above. And be happy and smile. Life is all too beautiful, enjoy every day of it.

Hi! ankita, i don't know how many chemo you need to go through, but one this is for sure you are at a right place. i had my 4 cycles complied, and this place gave me lots of information and support. i will share my experience, had 4 chemo and had a wonderful diwali, this was the best diwali of my life. now i am just fine and will go to work from Tuesday after as my daughter will leave on monday.
as fare as diet goes remember one thumb rule." what ever is cooked is good for you, provided it is fresh and made at your home." no out side food for some time. as the same can lead you to some where else. just don't worry every thing is going to be fine. you will be working during chemo, after 2 or 3 days. all i would like to tell you that be positive, trust God and then your doctor. take rest in between work. don'd go to crowded place as you may get infection. every thing will be fine.
