Hi all,I have seen the news a few times today and thought what a great report it was on BBC news. They were saying how having cancer now isn't the death sentence it was in the seventies before the so called"war on cancer"that was started by researchers ,scientists and oncologists in America.Praise be for the yanks!
Also it raised awareness of his emotionally and psychologically challenging it was to go through the treatment and surgery. The implications of having time off work and financial struggles were brought to light a side of battling cancer that no one really thinks about till it happens to them. The report said that having cancer these days was "life changing" not so much "life limiting",how very true!well done bbc!(do they still have points of view ?-I'm going to email somebody!),these were things I never thought about before I had cancer that's for sure.Positive thoughts averybody!!!☺
