Waiting on appointments

Hello ! Any tips for tolerating the waiting for appointments to be scheduled ? I'm waiting to get the call that my scans have been scheduled. I'm about to start treatment for a recurrence. I don't remember feeling this anxious last time. I'm literally staring at my phone, willing it to ring. I know this anxiety isn't doing me any good, but can't seem to stop obsessing over this.

in the UK we have a designated breast cancer nurse. She would know the system and be aware of what’s going on. Do you not have one allocated to you? Or is there a breast cancer charity who could help?

I always tell them I will take a cancellation and ask them to put me on the canx list. In the meantime fill your life with things that give you joy 🤩 try new things you’ve always wanted to do, and do nuturing things for you. Self care is queen 👸🏻
