Hi,I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer last May with stage 2 I have had lumpectomy,chemotherapy,just finishing radiotherapy having Herceptin injections every 3 weeks and ready to start hormone tablets Exemestane any body else taking this tablet

Yes I had same programe butbeithoutvrafiotherapt as Hadd mastectomy .. Were you given a reason for being given exemestane..?

Hi yes because my cancer its hr positive so the hormone drug is to block oestrogen that feeds my cancer and hopefully stop it coming back

Sorry my response didn't come out properly. I started off on letrozole and then moved on to exemastene. I too was triple positive. Good luck with your treatment

Just 3 more radiotherapy there all done its been a long rd not easy but I have done it ,Take care xSorry I didn't ask what triple positive was has it got a good outlook
