I have a question. If I am Er+(96%) and PR+(69%) is it bad the lately I have had strong menstrual cycles lasting 3 out of 4 weeks? I have not started my treatment yet since I just found out on march 3rd. I was wondering,if my estrogen is what's fueling my cancer and my menstrual cycle produces estrogen. Im wioried that everytime I have my period my cancer is growing?

ER+ is the most common one, and treatable with tamoxifen or letrozole or that type of drug a AI

Try not to worry about your periods fuelling your cancer, my doctor told me my cancer had been there for years slowly growing away, you will soon start your treatment, assume you will have surgery first then drug treatment.

When will you be going in for treatment? Have you decided what surgery you are having? Have they told you the size of the tumour?

I meet with the reconstructive surgeon Tuesday the march 21st. And yes I am having a mesectomy. They did a lymph node biopsy to see if it spread but I'm still waiting on those results.

So what treatment will you have now? Chemo? Or tablets?

How are you feeling after surgery etc?
