Good morning all xxx
After my last post I have now started to swell again, nothing like I did in hospital and feel fine. I take it that's normal? It feels "sponge" like π

Ring your BCNurse, pretty much we all get swelling post Mastectomy, l had mine drained a couple of times after l had the drain removed, but in view of what happened to you, a quick phone call might be better than worrying & better now than to leave it until later in the day.

I agree with Mrs Nails, get advice from your BCN, better safe than sorry, I hope it's nothing serious x
It sounds like a seroma - the build-up of fluid after drains are removed. They may want to drain it. I got mine drained twice before it settled down. Golden rule is contact your bcn x
Yes just get it checked mine is still spongy 4 months after surgery and is less but still annoying but only had drained once 3 weeks post surgery it can take months to settle but definently get it looked at . Take care maggie
Did any one have sermons after reconstruction as may have reconstruction end of the year or is it more common with an implant as I have a temporary implant but hate the solid feel of it , it looks good though in a bra but solid and also did any one have soreness when touched where lymph glands down side of your breast removed and did it settle . It's just when I press it it's probably the nerve damage I suppose feels like the back of that arms feels just a little more sensitive down side of breast
Go and get check out at the clinic just in case it needs draining xxx
