How does everyone cope with technology? I had my tbi 30 years ago and with my memory and severe dyslexia problems, I find the technology that is supposed to help is hard to remember how to use and the instructions impossible to read or process. I have nearly given up several times something keeps me fighting. Does anybody else find this?

Jaec can you try a few things for me? They sound trivial but all my patients do this. It’s part of our protocol and I did it too after my last tbi of many.

Play solitaire with cards. Not on a computer.

Read what you can on paper. Not on a computer.

Your brain likes patterns. When you form patterns in your brain the parts you want to work will work better for you. (I crochet as well.)

When you incorporate more senses and body parts you help your brain. As our brains atrophy with time we actually have more room for growth and diversity.

If you can use a mantra to meditate for 10 minutes every day. Again we’re incorporating a sense into a pattern in the brain telling your brain to make new pathways. Any time you can involve a sense that’s a bonus.

Best of luck to you.
