Hi, this is my first post and I'm just asking for some advice
I saw an endo consultant a couple of weeks ago following ongoing fatigue and brain fog for years.
A few weeks ago my symptoms got worse and I started to feel really weird, not exactly dizzy but not right, as though my eyes weren't seeing properly and pressure in my head.
I went to GP who did standard blood tests and all were clear. Said probably menopause and to go to Holland and Barrett!
Luckily I have health insurance through work so was able to ask for endo referral.
He ordered a load more bloods and recommended MRI which I went for last Friday
I'm now totally paranoid as when they did the MRI they said part way through that they wanted to inject the dye
Surely this means they found something? Now I'm convinced I have a tumour or MS
Welcome on the forum. The contrast dye shows up on the scans to show any abnormality throughout the body like a hilighter. The MRi people at the hospital are experts and will pass on the results to your consultant/GP. They will let you know if there is any cause for concern.
I have the dye put in everytime I have my MRI scans. Unfortunately the canula takes quite a few attempts as my veins are quite deep down. Try not to worry they like to be sure and find out whats causing your symptoms.
