Brain injury?

About 15 years ago I used to drink very heavy, then stopped for a few years. I then started drinking sensibly at the weekends and was doing fine. But I had to stop 3 years ago to look after my mum who became ill. Was fine up until a few months ago when I started getting excruciating pains down the left side of my head and ringing in my ears aswell as chest pains. My doctor diagnosed trigeminal neuralgia but I haven't heard of anyone getting ringing in ears and a lazy eye on and off with tn. Can anyone give some advice what they think it might be? I can't understand if it's due to alcohol why would I be get it 3 years after stopping.

see a good homeopathic doctor who will take a case history and decipher the problem.
