I have just found out I am pregnant with my second baby today! I am very early although not sure what the policy is on working atm. Another girl I was working with found out she was pregnant and she is just back from isolating for 12 weeks. Can anyone advise me? Will I have to tell my manager soon??

I think that pregnant woman are able to keep working as long as they can social distance and their work place carries out a risk assessment specific for pregnancy. The maternity action organisation had lots of information about your rights at work and covid-19.

I had to tell my workplace the day I found out as I work with radiation and immediately had to stop some duties. I also had a COVID risk assessment and I can continue all my duties including those where I am face to face with patients until I am 28 weeks
