What were your symptoms of pregnancy at 5 weeks? Im pregnant after an 11 week MC, so anxious. Is it normal not to feel pregnant. So worried

Hey guys,

We lost our little one at 11 weeks, a real shock because we had strong positive tests all the way through. I had a brown staining one morning and again the next so I went straight to A&E, they did a pregnancy test, he came out and said ‘we’ll you’re still pregnant’ with a smile. I went up for a scan in the early pregnancy unit and then got the devastating news. I naturally miscarried a week later.

I’m now 5 weeks pregnant and just don’t have any symptoms. I’m petrified as I can’t rely on the tests as mine still read pregnant last time!

At what stages did you feel pregnant? My other two children I had 14 years ago and remember feeling unwell, a bit queazy and very tired but I cannot remember at what stage.

Anyone else going through this? Xx

Hi there, don't stress so much it's okay you're pregnant even if the symptoms doesn't show up to support it. Firstly congratulations on your pregnancy! I can understand your dread having had a loss before but then oddities doesn't repeat themselves... not unless there's an underlying cause. I hope there's none as suggested from your post. Like many women do not get the IB the other symptoms are also very person-specific. I myself haven't been pregnant or can say successful with a full gestation to reassure you but I know women who haven't had a twitch and ended up getting pregnant with healthy births. My sister was one of them... she didn't even had the famous morning sickness not even once in her entire gestation period. As long as the tests tells you're pregnant you are and the best you can do is to imbibe the happiness and optimism for that support the pregnancy throughout. Stay well!
