BHCG is blood HCG or more commonly known as Beta HCG it is concerned with level of HCG in blood. The blood HCG test not much different to serum HCG. A serum is in fact, a blood product - the protein-rich liquid after coagulating and separating the corpuscles (blood cells and platelets). I think the levels stay same in both but I had beta only. The stick you shared should be HPT though as far as I can see. The blood HCG or serum one is most sensitive than HPT and therefore can detect pregnancy comparatively early than any POAS HPT. Due to the accuracy of the test, it is recommended over HPT when in doubt. Also, there are cases when HCG does not pass onto urine - though it's rare. In such cases, an HPT can never detect the pregnancy and only a blood or serum one can. Hope this information helps!

My levels were 13 when found out 6 days later they were 126 . Apparently more than doubled in 2 days nurse said x so as I’m 39 are they concerned that the amount is quite strong and possibly thinking multiple pregnancy? Sickness is very strong last few days so I’m interested in the results tomorrow bloods
