Hi There,

Did you have a medical abortion? If you did you should only do a pregnancy test that your service gave you (and that's usually 2 weeks afterwards), as the over-the-counter ones can stay positive for up to 6-8 weeks. This is because the ones in the shops are high sensitivity, and pregnancy hormones can be detected for weeks after a medical abortion. If you are still worried or have pregnancy symptoms contact your provider and ask to be seen for a check up, just to ensure your treatment has worked.

Best wishes

Katherine

Same thing happen to me. It was so unexpected. Heartbreaking and very challenging since everything hormonal was so out of wack. I was so confused. I think it's a 1% chance this could happen. Sorry to hear
