Hi there

Sometimes it can depend on the type of pill you were on, and it can take a while to ovulate again. A pregnancy test is accurate 3 weeks after last episode of un–protected sex, however if you do not intend to get pregnant I would advise you start on another form of contraception. If you wait a few days and then repeat the pregnancy test and it is still negative you may want to chat it through with a contraceptive nurse at the local clinic.

I hope this helps

Best wishes

Katherine
