I'm of 26 and I've recently got a job. I do have a boyfriend with whom I'm having sex for last 5 years. We often use condoms as for precaution but in this 5 years, the condom broke for the first time and my boyfriend came inside me. I took an m-pill within 3 hours as we are not married yet and do not want to get pregnant. After taking m-pill am I supposed to vomit or face something? because I'm feeling nothing, and perfectly normal. It has been 2 days since I took the medicine. Does that anyway mean I can be pregnant? I'm really tensed. We can't marry now neither I can get away from the job. I need to save my home as well as the job. Please help and tell me if there is any possibility of me being pregnant.

Hi there,

I understand why you are nervous, but as you took emergency contraception within the first 24 hours it is unlikely that you will be pregnant. Not everyone feels sick after taking the morning after pill - just because you don't feel sick it doesn't mean it hasn't worked. You can take a pregnancy test 3 weeks after using the morning after pill to make sure you aren't pregnant.
