really need some help.

my periods are extremely regular. I am on no contraception because I had previous problems when having my lg, who is now almost 3yrs. me and my partner have very careful sex, however we had unprotected sex for a short while whilst I was ovulating. I follow a period app and my cycle is every 26 days. I've been noticing odd symptoms for the past two weeks such as food tasting odd. however pregnancy never crossed my mind. my period was due today but hasn't came, I did a test this evening which showed up negative. I am a little confused. I also have extremely sore breasts and cramping as if I have my period. Anybody else have this??

I hope you are okay and not too worried.

If you had unprotected sex less than 3 weeks ago, you may be testing too early. I would suggest retaking a pregnancy test when you are a week late. If you find the test is still negative and you haven't come on your period then it might be a good idea to arrange to see your GP or health professional for some on-going advice.
