Hi there
Sometimes it can take a bit longer than we would like to fall pregnant, so it may be that you just need to give it more time. The best advice is to try to relax, stay healthy, have regular sex and start taking folic acid. If you have been trying for a year (or less time if you are over 35 or have had problems in the past such as an ectopic pregnancy) then you should go and have a chat with your GP just to check there isn’t anything that might be affecting your chances of conceiving. There’s more advice from the NHS about trying to conceive here which might be of use:
I hope this helps.
Best wishes,
Katherine
