Hi there,I'm currently on Teraparatide 2 Yr regime, my son lives in Oz and we visit once a year.

When nurse came to demonstrate Sondelbay pen device, she recommended Cool Meds travel bag to store pens in while travelling.

To be honest I wish we had done a bit more research...the hassle you have to go through when setting up freeze packs is to be honest a bit ridiculous!!!

There are so many different carriers for medical devices, all with different reviews.

Was wondering if anyone on here has experience of travelling long haul with this medication and what they used.

If you don’t get a response on here it might be worth posting on the Healthunlocked NRAS website, I’ve seen several people who use that site asking about cool bags to transport injections.

I have traveled whilst taking Sondelbay

I used an insulin pen travel pouch which is much smaller and easier to keep in hand luggage I had no problem going through emigration but I also had a letter from my Dr just in case I was never asked for it

Have a safe journey I was recommended to keep well hydrated in flight and to get up and walk round aircraft which I did apart from usual tiredness I was fine

Bless you for that, no Oz trips yer just 2 short cruises...can I ask, did you buy Frio travel pouches? If not which did you buy as I'm definitely going down that route instead of freeze packs !!

Afternoon really sorry to bother you again...but did you purchase pouches in UK ...and are they called Frio insulated pouches please ??
