Hello. Wonder if anyone can help please. I usually do my Romosozumab injections on the 29th of the month. February does not have 29 days. Not sure whether I should do them the following day 1st March and then go back to 29th of the month. So would do the 29th March as well and there after. Wish now I had waited and started on 1st would have made it easier. Hope this makes sense

Romo injections

I always take mine on the 1st of the month for that reason of varied days. When the nurse was showing me how to do them she said it's best to stick to the same day but it really wouldn't matter a day or so either way, for example if I was away from home on the due day. But to be sure, give the nurse helpline at the company that supplies the Romo a ring and she can best advise you
Hi Harvey
I have just finished my course of Romosozumab and at the start, my rheumatologist advised me that it was ok to "give or take" a day when calculating the month. Since some months have 30 and some 31 days, if you do it on the same day every month, it's not a totally exact number of days between each dose every month anyway. So you should be fine to do it on either 28th Feb or 1st March. But if you are worried (and obviously I am not a medical professional) then as tangocharlie suggests, give the nurse a call to set your mind at ease.
