Alendronic Acid

I am on Alendronic Acid ahead of having my infusion of Zoledronic as I have some dental work to get done. Can I ask if taking AA can make you have an upset tummy in the mornings? Is this a side effect?

Thank you.

Yes AA has caused stomach issues and I keep feeling queasy. My doctor has changed me to Risedronate until the Rheumatologist starts me on injections which are supposed to help. Good luck

yes it affected my stomach tablet form but no problem with infusion once a year, must drink loads of water whilst it’s going in though and no dental treatment for three months either side of treatment. Hope this helps. Good luck
