Does someone can tell if the annual decrease rate of bone loss will be faster if we stop taking AA? I mean, faster than would be if we did not take medication.

Thanks

Hi Verauk ,

Hope you’re doing well!

Just wanted to pop in to share some information with you. Our Alendronate (AA) information talks about what happens when you stop AA, "Alendronate (AA) is a long-lasting treatment and should keep helping our bones for about 2-3 years after we stop having it." You can read more about AA: theros.org.uk/information-a....

Since our members aren't able to provide direct medical advice, if you wanted to chat things through further, we warmly welcome you to reach out to our friendly team of specialist nurses on our helpline. They can talk with you more about your situation and answer any questions you may have 😊. theros.org.uk/information-a...

I hope this helps, and thank you for staying connected with our community. We really appreciate it! 😊

All the very best,

Lulu
