Have you experienced over-exercising as a dancer which has lead to osteoporosis?

We are currently writing an article for our members’ magazine, Osteoporosis News, about over-exercise, (with a specific focus on dance), as a risk factor for osteoporosis. We would like to include a short Q&A section with a member of the community who has experienced over exercise as a dancer. We are particularly interested in hearing from someone who may have then gone on to develop osteoporosis and may have had related fractures (broken bones) as a result.

We will send through five questions and are looking for short responses (150-200 words) for each.

Please email Imogen.Smith@theros.org.uk by Tuesday 7 February if you have experienced this and are happy to share your story.
