Hi, I’m Dancing Dragons, diagnosed with Osteoporosis of the spine last year. Like so many others on this site, I’ve had a very frustrating experience, getting to the point of diagnosis and treatment. I saw two ‘specialists ‘ both in USA, where my fall happened (a very minor fall) and back in the UK. Neither made the connection that a 62 year old woman suffering two veritable fractures from a low impact fall just might perhaps have Osteoporosis? We’ve a long way to go! Inspiring and informative to read of others stories on this site.

Thank you wbiC. I’ve started doing regular back extension exercises, but not with weights yet. I’ve never heard Thyme mentioned before, though I have consulted a nutritionist, so I’ll check that out. I’m glad these things are working out for you. Thanks for sharing.
