Does anyone know if there have been any clinical uk trials regarding this! Has anyone on here had a dexa scan which showed improvement using natural remedies?

Thanks

Yes, from -2 to -1.6 in one year (same machine).

Here is an article describing a certain protocol. I didn't follow it exactly but it certainly encouraged me that their findings showed exercise, supplements and nutrition would help, as indeed it did:

Looking at the last reference, the supplements included strontium, which unfortunately gives an artificially high DXA reading, meaning they cannot be used as a monitoring tool.

I’ve been on SR since 2011 because Servier who made it, showed that it reduced fractures. It also agrees with me. The down side from my point of view, is that I cannot monitor any improvement, apart from no more fractures, while I’ve been taking it.

I didn't take strontium, but still improved bone density.

My experience has been that since my diagnosis I increased my walking and made sure I did 10000 steps a day. I have ‘osteopenia’ in my hips and other areas but this has stayed the same in the last 5 years. This proves to me that you can at least halt it with weight bearing exercise. Btw walking is all I’ve really done apart from a bit of yoga as I have fractures in my spine so it’s really hard for me to exercise. Because of this my spine has got much worse to the point I’m scared and considering taking the drugs but it’s the last thing I want to do.
