I feel over at the weekend and since then I have had a pain in my left lung when I breathe in. Is this something that I should go to the Doctors about?

Hi maryann

I am not at all medically trained but it may be your ribs that are giving you pain on taking in breaths. I do not think that anything is done about the ribs though. Probably only pain "dullers" or similar will be prescribed.

Why not give the NOS helplines a call in the first instance and speak with a nurse. I am sure you will pointed in the right direction if you do this. T: FREEPHONE 0808 800 0035

I hope you feel better soon. I have a tendency to fall too. Horrid isn't it? :)

I occasionally stumble, particularly over uneven pavements and try to correct the fall by making another silly movement. It could be just a pulled muscle, but I agree with Kaarina, phone the number she suggests for advice. They may well say to see your doctor if it hasn’t improved by the next day.
